Embark on a fascinating two-day journey from Agadir to the coastal beauty of Essaouira and the vibrant city of Marrakech. This well-designed tour offers a perfect blend of cultural exploration, history, and scenic beauty.
Day 1: Exploring the Coastal Charms of Essaouira Your adventure begins with an early pick-up from your Agadir hotel at 7 AM. On
the way to Essaouira, you’ll witness the unique sight of goats climbing argan trees, followed by a visit to a Berber village for mint tea and a stop at a local argan oil factory to learn about its production.
Upon reaching Essaouira, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a local guide will take you through the city’s labyrinthine souks and historic ramparts. Explore the Kasbah and Scala, with panoramic views of the surrounding area, and visit the bustling port, where the city’s maritime heritage comes to life.
After some free time for lunch and shopping, we’ll continue our journey to Marrakech in the afternoon, arriving by around 4 PM. You’ll spend the night in a luxurious 4-star hotel, where you can enjoy breakfast the following day. The evening is yours to explore the vibrant nightlife of Marrakech at your leisure.
Day 2: Discover Marrakech’s Majestic Landmarks and Return to Agadir After breakfast, your Marrakech exploration begins with
a visit to the serene Majorelle Gardens, a true oasis of color and tranquility. Then, enjoy a 3-hour guided walking tour through the city’s most iconic landmarks, including Bahia Palace, the Jewish Quarter, the Saadian Tombs, and the lush gardens surrounding the Koutoubia Mosque. Conclude your tour at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square, where you can experience the vibrant atmosphere of local life.
You’ll have free time to wander through Marrakech’s souks, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy a meal at one of the city’s charming cafes. After lunch, your driver will take you back to Agadir, with an estimated arrival time of 8 PM at your hotel.
